About Dani de Morón
Dani de Morón is one of the most distinguished flamenco guitarists of his generation, awarded two Giraldillos at the Seville Flamenco Biennale and nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2018 for his album 21. Originally from Morón de la Frontera, he trained in accompanying both dance and song alongside leading flamenco artists, collaborating with figures such as José Mercé, Antonio Canales, Concha Buika, and Paco de Lucía.
Renowned for his virtuosity, he also explores other musical styles, particularly jazz, and has built a solo career marked by constant artistic curiosity. His discography includes Cambio de sentido (2012), El sonido de mi libertad (2015), 21 (2018), Creer para ver (2020), and Empatía (2024), while he is currently working on his new project, Life Sketching. He regularly performs in concert, both solo and in collaboration, with acclaimed appearances at the Seville Biennale and the Nîmes Festival.
