Event Details

Inspired by some of the world’s most ancient musical expressions, The Roots of the World brings together guest artists from Korea, the First Nations of Canada, and other cultural horizons to celebrate Constantinople’s 25th anniversary.

Songs, rhythms, and traditions passed down from generation to generation reveal the deep connections that unite cultures. From shamanic practices to the great musical traditions of Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas, the artists uncover resonances that have linked peoples since time immemorial. Bridging heritage and creation, memory and imagination, this encounter brings together exceptional voices in a tribute to our shared humanity, where music becomes a common language.

A grand celebration of living cultures, this event marks twenty-five years of dialogue, discovery, and artistic exchange fostered by Constantinople.
