    ABOUT Tineke Steenbrink

Tineke Steenbrink (organ and harpsichord) is co-founder of Holland Baroque.
Since her youth she has been connected to the Severijn organ of the Sint Martinuskerk, Cuijk. She has taught at the conservatories of Zwolle and Groningen and since 2014 at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Her many years of study of the autograph of Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater led to the publication of this manuscript with Edition Wallhall.
Tineke is currently researching baroque Gregorian chant, its use and performance practice in Brabant in the 17th and 18th centuries. She studies these ancient Gradualia, Antiphonalia and Processionalia page by page for their notes, insertions, directions and signs of use.
She holds degrees from the Utrecht Conservatory in organ studies and from the Hochschule für Musik Köln harpsichord studies, which she completed with the highest distinction.
