En Chordais and Constantinople

This musical adventure takes us onto the Silk Road, following the steps of the celebrated Venetian merchant Marco Polo, who set out for China in the 13th century. The performance is shaped by a dialogue between musical cultures represented by seasoned artists of great virtuosity. The two renown ensembles En Chordais (Greece) and Constantinople will be joined by guests from Italy, Mongolia, India, Uzbekistan and China. From the heart of Europe to the Far East, the adventures of Marco Polo conjure up a fascinating era in the history of mankind.
